The Outdoorsmans Self-Timing Muzzle Brake
What are the commas used in this video?
😊Is it NL 100% Edge to edage Sharpness same as EL or did u Fail again?😮
"Edge to edage Sharpness" is NL 100% same NL yes no Fails here U 👍 😵💫
This question may have already been asked, but I didn’t see it. Which mount setup are you running on the helmet for the RH25? Is it a bridge mount attached to a G24?
Correct. The plate on the RH25 has both a Picatinny section and a dovetail for Wilcox mounts. There's a link to each part of the system in the comments!
Thanks for the video! I was wondering why it was taking long between measuring. I will turn Bluetooth off
Hi, great video. I do have a 8x42 NL. And 8x25. I am considering a larger mag als extra bino. Do you recommend 10x32 or 12x42?
I'd highly recommend the 12x42 or the new 10x52/14x52! The 42s are on sale right now on our site - Outdoorsmans.com. Feel free to give us a call and talk more, too!
…. But can it run crysis?
We've only tried CS:GO and it's a little clunky.
didn't Iray just get put on a blacklist for imports cause it's a Chinese company?
It's looking like iRayUSA is going to be okay for now. The recent sanction was directed at the distantly-related parent company. iRayUSA has stated that it is completely uninvolved and will (hopefully) not be affected.
@@Outdoorsmans I ordered one just in case lol but lets hope this is the case!
OMG! I came here to learn about binoculars but I took one look at you and I melted! You're a real mountain man, a total hotbox! 🔥... but then I saw the ring on your finger. Doh! Doesn't matter. Your wife and the world are lucky to have you.
Holy moly.
@@Outdoorsmans ... just sayin'. tzzzz... 🔥
I have had good luck with black tape making a crosshair as the target, a little bit of sun and it stands out nicely.
First pair which magnification should I go with? General use spotting, ID, vacation at parks, stargazing, birdwatching.
I'd say the 10x52 is a great option for all-round. The 10x42 NL might be worth a look in your case, too. Slightly smaller and easier to carry with very minimal loss optically.
@@letsgobrandon527 8x42 best allrounder.
Can you freehand those 14s? 😁
It's hard to believe, but you can. It's miles better than the 15x56 SLC and even an EL 12x50.
daily nightly beer intake dependent
Yes , I have the 14 x 52 I can keep still without the FRP Head Support NL Pure I will have this in the coming days so it makes it bit easier to keep it still
I love my 10x32 NL's, but who wouldn't want more brightness? I thought 12x42 next but why not jump up to 14x52 at a fraction higher cost.
You're unboxing my box!! But I'm okay with that - get that stud installed and LFG!!
Anyone want to buy my 12x42 NLs 😢
Outdoorsmans will! 😏
Funny you should ask... outdoorsmans.com/pages/optics-trade-in
Or me!
Why you selling them?
@@s.d.r1062 I love them but can’t afford to keep them both if I was getting the 14s. Money would go straight to the 14s, I live in New Mexico so a lot of my hunting is desert so higher power for me is a little better but I love my 12s.
So cool! Well done guys!
So Cool, Makreting genius!
What riser do you have the adm qd mounted to?
It's just an ADM Picatinny Riser
Ducking brlliant.
Hell yeah. Thanks!
Would you say this would help stability too with the added weight of a spotter or binos on the tripod?
It sure will. Thanks for pointing that out! We'll quote you @PittedLikeThat21 when we pass along this feature!
I accept cash or check
It's in the mail.
Dislike for naked advertising, nothing else. Not Subscribe of course
Well we are a business and advertising is generally involved.
Measure twice and cut once. For me i dont cut just in case. One never knows what the future holds
I cut mine just long enough to still fit after the holidays.
Started using my Atlas Trainer. Got tell you its the dogs balls. Its amazing. Tomorrow im going over the mountain at Pinnacle Mountain to see the difference. I had been using freeweight tied together in a backpack on molle ii frame. Been having a lot of trap pain. Since I used this man it is the $hit. Walked with it last night. Another session today then over the mountain tomorrow. Yesterday was like a dream. Once I save the cash going to buy the complete system from you. So far its all good
Now this is a review. Glad you like it! We'll definitely be using the "dog's balls" to describe it from now on.
A head to head between this and the voodoo-s and the Skeet IR would be nice
Sensors are similar... build quality and warranty much better.
Wont the top (2) poles of the frame jab into the neck of the end user if you should fall forward?
We don't recommend falling, but we haven't had that issue. This frame system has been used by thousands of hunters for nearly two decades!
What about diameter, 42 or 50? 😮
The NL Pure only comes in 32 and 42 😬
Great honest opinion appreciated indeed .. 👍🏻
Both have the same glass, VX6HD just has the 6x zoom with additional features over the VX5HD (flip covers, level indicator, windage dial, quick throw lever). I have both and love them both.
Are the zeiss sfls as good as the swarovski els around central image? Or are the swarovskis still better?
I'd still give the edge (no pun intended) to the ELs for sure. Also, the new lower pricing on ELs makes the decision a little tougher, but the advantage of the SFL is the size and weight. Great for bowhunters, etc.
A small piece of tinfoil make a good target for zeroing thermal. Line the rh25 retical up with your zeroed lpvo and you’re good to go.
What is the camera in the XL ???
That's Joe's Sony A7RIV
@@Outdoorsmans thank you 🙏🏻
Canon 5D mark 3 with battary grip (16 centimeter) height be suitable ? ?
With the velcro divider system, I think you could make it fit perfectly!
You're supposed to collimate the unit when you rifle mount it so there is no poi shift.
You don't need to if you can shift the image with software
@@spldrong That would be collimating.
@@thearmorer5527 sorry, I've always hear of that being the process of how they make the unit "straight" so that there us not POI from the factory. Most military units say that's how they are zeroed... amd most are that way from the factory... butniver time we got sorlftware to make up for the very small shifts
When storing Binoculars that have twist up / rotating eyepieces should you store them down or does it really matter? I don’t wear eyeglasses and find it more convenient to keep eyecups in extended position. Just curious if this ok for them. Thank you.
It's probably fine. I'd suggest storing them eyecups down if you're transporting them or carrying them in a pack. Sitting on a shelf is fine though!
Where is this one made?
Overseas.
This is Awesome! You answered my question on converting my original Outdoorsmans Panhead to the Arca rail system. I will be looking into this system adapter. Thanks
Great to hear!
Lol, can you post a video on how to self instal/remove?
This is for the EL and EL Range binoculars only. Nearly every other model of binocular uses a simple thread-in stud that you can do in 5 seconds at home!
Epic Outdoors in Utah also has a stud available that fits the Swarovski tripod mount. It’s black and blends in with the binos without noticing and it’s not nearly as obtrusive. The Swarovski mount is a lever quick release. Both are great, but if you already have a Swaro tripod adapter it’s a fantastic option. I corresponded with Swarovski North America and the guy said he is hopeful they will have their own mount for the NLs this summer during the new product release. They’ve been asking for it for several years.
This is an interesting place to choose to share this information. Thanks for the comment.
This or Zeiss Victory SF?
After looking through both side-by-side, the NLs are well worth the extra cash if you can swing it. That massive field of view that's sharp all the way to the edges really puts them in another category.
@@Outdoorsmans did you heard about rubber armor problems on the NL Pure?
We haven't seen any issues with them. @@s.d.r1062
Wich one is better this of Zeiss Victory SF 8x42?
We LOVE the SFL. Cheaper, lighter, and the glass is very hard to distinguish between the two.
@@Outdoorsmans but i think SF is better in lowlight?
Just barely. 2mm of objective is a worthy sacrifice for the size and weight difference.@@s.d.r1062
@@Outdoorsmans But SF has also bigger FOV and Schott glass. Better coating for low light conditions
Yes, there are some differences. If it were my money, I'd go SFL for the weight and cost savings. That said, give us a call and we'll be happy to sell you a pair of SFs!
How would you compare this scope to a trijicon credo, Zeiss v4 vortex razor lht, maven rs1.2? Lowlight capabilities, clarity, etc?
(From Joe) We don't have a ton of experience with the Trijicon, but I would say it’s a slight upgrade from the Zeiss. The LHT scopes are great, but they don't quite compete optically. The Amplus performed well enough in low light that I didn’t like take note of anything or thought that it was subpar in any way. It also tracks extremely well and held zero extremely well. Optically, Leica is one of the better options, and at this price point you're getting a lot of value.
Is anyone using this as a shooting platform? Looks like it’s a do it all head.
We shoot off of this head all the time! It was great before, but now with the Arca-Swiss compatibility, it's so simple.
Can this frame fit a 20L water can such as the Scepter can?
That green pouch I had to buy separately… It came in a cotton lousy bag. Plus they changed the coating on the oculars which give problems with fogging up in some circumstances. Also suffers from glare/flare.
None of this sounds familiar to me... sorry you've had that experience. Might be worth taking up with Swarovski
You make the best stuff. There are some cool bino rings and stuff coming out but you guys still rule.
Thank you! You rule for saying that.
Keymod? Is the whole system a dinosaur?
Correct. These were discovered by a paleontologist. We have since switched to M-LOK
Sitting or standing tripod?
The vx5 have really mushy wind torrents. Disappointing for the price. Vx6 is the better option
I haven't seen that. Can't stand mushy torrents
OPTIK OPTIK!🤘
Hell yeah brother!
He hAve the black and blue
Reported.
I have a pair of 8x40s and believe they are indeed a candidate for best value. They may not have the FOV and edge to edge sharpness of the NLs, but center sharpness is on par with the NLs, they're significantly lighter, and have much faster focusing. Nice to see a manufacturer back off of nose bleed pricing yet provide close to top level performance.
What a review! We agree, General Tso.
And when you compare to victory SF?
Theyre NOT made in Germany. $1800 is spicy for being made in japan? $13-1400, I might buy
What's the difference between the Atlas Trainer and FNG Academy's SFAS MOLLE II "Ruck Trainer 2.0" ?
Looks like that's a very familiar design if you catch my drift. The Atlas Trainer was the first of its kind, is on a more robust, flexible frame, and can be swapped with any of our hunting packs on the same frame. The Atlas Trainer is also in stock, as it appears the FNG is not.
@Outdoorsmans Does the top of the frame jab into a person's neck if they accidentally fall forward on the ground?
@travelinman482 Knowing your limits is a big factor with rucking for sure. We can't guarantee safety in the event of a fall, but highly recommend not falling either way!
@Outdoorsmans Why make the top pieces of the Ruck Trainer not point towards the user's neck/head? I understand your company's safety cautions from a legal standpoint.
